Peak Performance Automotive, an ASE-certified full-service repair shop located in Newark, DE, is hiring an Automotive Service Technician. This role is ideal for technicians in the Wilmington area looking for a short commute to a stable, well-equipped shop with consistent work and strong earning potential.

In this position, you’ll focus on vehicle inspections, maintenance services, and repair execution, working within an efficient service workflow alongside experienced technicians and advisors. Compensation ranges from $55,000 – $100,000+, depending on experience and productivity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and general automotive repairs.
  • Diagnose common mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic tools.
  • Execute brake, suspension, steering, A/C, and drivetrain repairs.
  • Communicate repair findings clearly with service advisors and team members.
  • Maintain repair efficiency while following safety and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of hands-on automotive service or repair experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures across vehicle systems.
  • ASE certifications preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Dependable, team-oriented technician with solid attention to detail.
